Do you dream of a sexy look, but every time you reach for false eyelashes, they come off after a few hours? Check how to apply them in order to enjoy a full and dense fan of black eyelashes.

Why false eyelashes?

Artificial eyelashes are the choice of every busy woman who simply does not have time to apply make-up every day. They are also great for fans of theatrical, expressive look or those of us simply disappointed with the effects provided by ordinary mascara.

If you have never dealt with them, learn the whole process of applying false eyelashes with us – or do online cosmetics courseto gain expertise in this subject.

Start with preparation

Before starting the whole process, prepare your natural lashes. Brush them (you can use a clean applicator from an old mascara or just buy a brush designed for this purpose) and curl them using an eyelash curler.

Follow a few simple rules to get those stunningly full and curly lashes. Hold the curler at the base of your lashes for five seconds, then release and move up a few millimetres towards the center. Tighten and wait again, then repeat the process at the tip of your lashes. This will give you a boost at three different lengths.

After curling your lashes, don’t wait long. Grab your mascara right away and apply a thin coat to fix your new lash alignment. If you’re having trouble quickly applying mascara without scratching the skin around your eyes, we’ve got one simple trick for you. Grab a mirror, tilt your head back, pushing your chin up, and look firmly down. This position will allow you to easily manipulate the applicator so that your lashes are coated from root to tip without leaving black mascara smudges all around.

Wait several seconds and let the mascara dry. Then brush your lashes again for a truly long-lasting new look.

Remember: the whole process of using an eyelash curler should not hurt. If you feel any discomfort, stop curling immediately – you are performing one of the steps incorrectly. Don’t worry, everyone makes mistakes when using an eyelash curler for the first time. At sash.co.uk you can find courses to help you learn proper makeup habits.

How to apply the glue?

At the very beginning we recommend buying lashes without much volume or length. This will make application easier for you. Choose a cheap product that you can trim to meet your needs without remorse. There is no point in overpaying when you are just learning the art of attaching false eyelashes. Also pay attention to the thickness of the strip. The thinner it is, the less visible it is, and the less likely it is to gradually peel off under its own weight.

A pair of tweezers will help you throughout the process. Apply the lashes to your eyelids to adjust their length. Trim them if necessary (you can then use the cut piece to add volume to the outer corner of your eye). Next, coat the strip with glue. To control how much you apply, use an ear stick or toothpick.

Many women make the mistake of trying to apply false eyelashes too quickly when first applying them. You should wait about 30 seconds after applying the glue for it to take effect. Swiping vigorously will speed up the process.

If you’re worried about your lashes starting to peel off during the day, fold them so that their corners “kiss” each other. This will spread the glue to their very edges as well, making them last longer.

Time for new lashes!

Using tweezers, position the false lashes so that they are just above your natural lash line. Press the strip against your eyelids, starting from the corner of your eye, and hold for a few seconds each time. Under no circumstances close your eyes – it will change their shape.

And you’re done! Your new look is complete. At the end of the day, all you have to do is gently grab the strip from the outer corner of your eye and pull to remove the lashes with ease.

A more natural look? Use the services of a specialist

Artificial eyelashes on a strip are convenient to use, but sometimes they simply do not meet our expectations. Then we should reach for tufts. However, applying them requires a steady hand and a lot of tedious, time-consuming work. So search in your browser for “eyelashes Wrocław” and find a cosmetician in your area.
